Are the properties freehold or leasehold?

Each of the properties is on a 250-year leasehold ( or part of on resale)

Who is eligible to buy or rent an apartment at Albion Meadows?

All apartments are for people aged 55 or over. Only one partner needs to be this age or above.

Can my daugher and son buy a retirement property on my behalf?

It may be possible for a member of your family to purchase on your behalf, please contact us and we can offer further advice.

What can i expect in terms and service The Better Living Package?

What other costs may I expect?

You will be responsible for the charges associated with running your home such as home contents insurance, utility bills, telephone charges, internet, and council tax.

Will my property include kitchen appliances?

Yes, all kitchens are fitted with Bosch oven, hob, cooker hood and Iberna fridge and dishwasher.

What fittings can i expect in my bathroom?

All bathrooms are designed to be stylish with level access wet rooms and storage for all those important bathroom things. Also there is a minimum of a separate toilet. All tiles and furniture are Porcelanosa.

What amenities will be available to me?

There is a wide range of amenities including an activity programme, extensive gardens, residents’ garden, meadow walks, restaurant, residents’ lounge, hairdressers, library and more.

Are pets permitted?

Most existing pets can be accommodated but approval is needed.

Do the properties have allotted parking?

Yes, each property will have a car parking space allotted . There will also be communal electric car points onsite as well as visitor and disabled spaces.

Will there be transport facilities to local amenities?

There will be various options available to residents providing transport to local towns, shops and other outings. Some of the visits to local places such as Earls Croome may have an additional charge.

Are care packages provided and, if s, by whom?

Currently we do not provide Individual personal care packages, but they can be sourced from a local domiciliary care company.

Are there guest facilities at Albion Meadows?

There are no guest facilities but there is accommodation available locally. We can recommend accommodation if desired. Guests are welcome to stay with you.

Who is responsible for the external maintenance of my poperty?

Albion Meadows is responsible for all communal areas including lifts systems and heating as well as exterior maintenance. All works will be completed professionally and to the highest level.

What poer suppplies are connected to Albion Meadows?

Electricity is connected and it is your choice regarding supplier to the apartments and the heating and hot water is supplied via the Biomass system through Albion Lodge Ltd. The heating is fully controllable for each apartment.

Can i make alterations to my property?

Minor internal alterations and improvements can be made with the prior consent of Albion Meadows. All alterations may need to be restored to the original prior to resell.
